About The Cacao World sites

The Cacao World along with The Cacao World Wiki and The Cacao World Map are information sites for all subjects related to cacao. So far, the research covers world history, (development of chocolate, the slave trade), sustainability (agricultural practices, fair trade, climate change), sciences, (genetics, biology) and health. I hope to add pages or an additional site with an international perspective to write about and discuss recipes, techniques and sources for creating the most delicious dishes (mole comes to mind), and confections possible.

Cacao World Map: Cacao trees grow near the Equator at ? degrees north and south of the Equator. So far, I’ve read that the latitude of this zone is 10/10, 10/20, 20/20 …just how many degrees north and south of the equator does cacao grow? This map will help answer that question with as much accuracy as possible.
